In the northwest region of Grand Teton National Park lies Jackson Lake. This 15-mile long glacial lake is located at the base of the Tetons. Colter Bay Marina is located north of Moran in Grand Teton National Park. They offer canoe, kayak, and motor boat rentals for exploring Jackson Lake at the base of Mount Moran.
Signal Mountain Lodge Marina offers many of the same things as Colter Bay, but they also rent pontoon boats and deck cruisers that seat 10.

For canoeing, we recommend Leigh Lake—head to Rendezvous around 8am, and slap a canoe on the roof of your car (they provide straps and foam pads) before heading north into Grand Teton National Park.

Swimming + Hot Springs
Hop in the various lakes, streams and rivers that dot the valley, and don’t miss the swimming pond at Rendezvous Park in Wilson. If you’re after a slightly more relaxing swimming experience, check out Granite Hot Springs, which is just 30 minutes south of Jackson. Nestled among the Gros Ventre Mountains, the hot springs are 7,000 feet above sea level and offer incredible views.
